Meet PCL's New Area Sales Manager for the Central Region - Simon Foxall

Simon Foxall has been appointed Area Sales Manager to cover Central England for tyre inflation and compressed air equipment manufacturer PCL.

Bringing expertise in driving sales through existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities and distribution gaps, Simon most recently managed key accounts for a wholesaler and manufacturer of industrial hardware products. He is delighted to secure his position with PCL, where he has received the customary warm welcome.

Why use a Safety Coupling or Adaptor?

Coupling connections are subject to Health and Safety regulations, due to the dangers associated with hose whip. The Health & Safety Guide HSG 39 recommends that for all hoses above 10 mm bore, more than 10 m long or subject to a pressure exceeding 7 bar, the connector should have a self-venting coupling, alternatively an adaptor with a controlled venting action should be used.
